An urgent appeal

Dear friends and AGC family,

Many of you who are close to the AGC know Phil Begosian, a long time member and supporter.  Phil was one of the first members of the community; in fact, his persistence and vision were key factors in the founding and ongoing development of the Church.  Phil played a significant role in the development of the AGC Liturgy of Divine Wisdom, the Divine Office, and other devotional and liturgical materials.  In December of 2008, he was ordained to the office of Reader.

Over the past few years, Phil has been living in Kansas City, taking care of his elderly mother, Sarah.  During the last year, they have both faced a series of medical crises that have depleted their savings.  Now, they're facing losing their home to foreclosure.

The Church has set up an account with GoFundMe to help raise funds to keep Phil and his mom in their home and to help meet other necessary expenses.   I know that this economic crisis has been hard on many of you, any amount you can spare will be helpful.  Please consider making an emergency donation if you are able.  GoFundMe is most convenient for accessing the funds, but you can donate via PayPal as well (PayPal works best if you're outside of the U.S).

With gratitude,
+Thomas Langley
